New Patient Center

Going to a Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe we’ve heard through a friend or have done some research online. It’s possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it’s time to do something about it. In any case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your health history, current condition and goals.

First Visit Expectations:

New Patient Forms

Print the New Patient Application and the HIPAA Privacy Act forms under the forms tab and complete prior to your appointment.

Consultation

After your paperwork has been processed, you will watch a brief introductory video to chiropractic. Then you will have your consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. Your first visit with us is a fact-finding time to learn more about you.

Examination

The doctor will complete a chiropractic examination which will include weight differential scales, postural and flexibility testing and a complete health assessment.

X-Rays

The doctor may take a set of x-rays to help us see the condition of your spine. This will help us develop a specific treatment plan for you.

Report of Findings

Once the doctor completes his fact-finding, he will take a look at the overall results of your consultation, exam and x-rays. The doctor will be able to give you a detailed report of his findings and answer any questions you may have. Those questions may include:

  1. How can chiropractic help me?
  2. What will be the frequency of my visits?
  3. All financial questions regarding cost of care.

The doctor will develop a plan of action that will begin when you are completely satisfied and ready to move forward.

Treatment

If you decide to move forward with care, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment. There is a wide variety of adjustment techniques and we will tailor your treatment to the one that works best for you.
